ABOUT

My name is Mr. Jordan. Having taught ancient history in the sixth grade for many years, I am excited to be your 8th grade social studies teacher this year. While I may or may not have taught you while you were in the 6th grade, I am excited about teaching South Carolina history again and working with a different age group. While this is my first year teaching 8th graders at Wright Middle School, I had taught 8th grade South Carolina history prior to coming to our school. I look forward to teaching you SC history and to prepare you to be a successful and independent learner ready for the next big step which is going high school.

I will be using this website as a way of providing additional information about the class and what we are doing. It is a great resource for both students and parents alike.
